Katherine Lemay, Occupational Therapist (OT Reg. (Ont., QC) & psychotherapist

My name is Katherine Lemay (she/her) and I am a bilingual registered Occupational Therapist and Psychotherapist in both Ontario and Quebec. After working for the federal government and in International Development for nearly a decade, I sought out a change of careers in health care. I was drawn to occupational therapy because of how it considers the whole person and their environment as I tailor interventions to what matters most to my clients. I am now a fierce health advocate and proud occupational therapist and psychotherapist. I have a special interest in treating mental illness and perinatal women.

Areas of focus

  • Perinatal health (conception to 3 years postpartum)

  • Pregnant women: Postpartum women and partners

  • Mental health - anxiety, depression, bipolar, OCD, PTSD, body dysmorphia etc.

  • ADHD

  • Pelvic floor therapy

  • Infertility

  • Pediatrics

I am dedicated to helping women in their reproductive journeys, as I believe occupational therapy and psychotherapy has a special therapeutic role when we are being challenged both mentally and physically in this life transition. Often there can also be overlap with other cognitive, emotional and/or physical struggles like ADHD, mental illness, chronic pain, etc. and I feel that everyone should have access tools to help them navigate these barriers to meaningful participation in their lives. Lastly, I have re-opened some time slots to pediatric clients, specifically with mental health concerns. Please feel free to reach out if you think I could be the right fit for your kiddo.

Katherine offers her services in French and English - both in Quebec and Ontario
